2024 Gathering Committee Meeting 2

The 2nd 2024 Gathering Committee Meeting  was held Dec 14th at 330 North River Road in Charlottetown. In attendance was Kevin Trainor, Mike Trainor, David Trainor, Will Trainor, Mary Leah Trainor, Roy Trainor, Bill Trainor and Arlene Kelly.

Kevin talked about the upcoming meet and greet and how helpful it will be to spread the word about the reunion. Roy suggested the Robert Cotton Centre in Stratford and will get information on the rentals. It will be held Jan 21st, 2023 from 2-4. There will be one every 2 months.

Busses will be hired to tour Greenwich Beach in St Peters Bay. Pre Registration is required for numbers and commitment. There will be a Pub Night, Ceilidh, and an American Wake. Ancestry from each cemetery with Trainor/Trainer/Traynor roots will be identified before the clan arrives.

Smaller busses can be rented from Kelly Doyle at PEI Select Tours.

It was suggested to have meet and greet venues at Kinkora, Emerald, Fort Augustus, Kellys Cross and other areas where Trainors have lived.

Discussion was entered on Bags and Gifts for attendees and cost of registrations.

Conclusion: Many good stories and lots of laughs from all that attended.
